Postman Labs facilitates rapid ideation and iteration of new products, emphasizing frugality and agility to quickly achieve outcomes. The team aims to create intuitive experiences that make APIs accessible to everyone by building delightful solutions for complex problems and enabling new workflows. They recently launched Postbot, an AI assistant for API development, and have also shipped multi-protocol support and Flows. For their next growth phase, Postman Labs is focusing on Generative AI, believing it can be deeply embedded in existing products to unlock value and integrate with APIs to create groundbreaking new products. They are looking for exceptional engineers to work across the stack in a rapid environment, combining new technology with Postman’s production scale.

What You'll Do

As Generative AI is a nascent field, there's significant room for experimentation and learning. Your responsibilities will include:

• Build and experiment with new ideas that will impact millions of people around the world.
• Wear multiple hats; engineering, product, design (whatever might be needed to get the job done). You get to own the product - right from conception and development to validation and talking to users.
• Build integrated product experiences that bridge the gap between the cutting edge of development in AI and well-crafted solutions for our 25m users.

About You

• An experienced and product-minded Engineer (4 years +) who has the desire, flexibility and ability to wear multiple hats.
• Expertise in React and Node.js is a plus.
• Background of building and shipping world-class products at scale.
• Passion and interest for AI.
• Ability to build a feature from scratch and drive it to completion.
• You have a "validate first and perfect later" mentality.
• You are curious and excited about how things work under the hood.
• Self-driven, self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.
