About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services in Python and Node.js that power scheduling, clinical documentation, and AI‑driven care guidance.
- Architect and deploy scalable microservices on AWS, ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate machine‑learning models into the platform, optimizing predictive analytics for veterinary workflows.
- Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers to uphold code quality and maintainability.
- Partner with product and UX teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, iterating quickly based on user feedback.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full‑stack engineering experience, with strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, ECS/Fargate).
- Solid understanding of machine‑learning pipelines and model deployment.
- Experience building responsive front‑end components with React.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a passion for building products that improve healthcare outcomes.
