Software Engineer
Design and develop advanced metrology and imaging hardware/software for semiconductor manufacturing, leveraging C++, Python, optics, and signal‑processing expertise to deliver high‑precision measurement solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and validate metrology and imaging subsystems for wafer and reticle inspection.
- Develop embedded firmware and high‑level software in C++ and Python to control optics, sensors, and data acquisition.
- Perform optical modeling, signal‑processing algorithm development, and performance characterization of measurement tools.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (mechanical, electrical, process engineers) to integrate solutions into semiconductor production lines.
- Document designs, test procedures, and results; support qualification and field deployment activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python; experience with LabVIEW or similar instrumentation software is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with optical metrology, imaging sensors, and signal‑processing techniques.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environments and measurement standards.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
