About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of injection molding parts from concept through production, ensuring performance, cost, and manufacturability goals are met.
- Utilize CAD tools to create detailed 3D models and assemblies, applying design for manufacturability principles.
- Conduct FEA simulations to validate structural integrity, thermal performance, and material behavior under operational conditions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to refine designs, select appropriate materials, and resolve production issues.
- Develop and execute rapid prototyping and testing protocols, iterating designs based on test results and stakeholder feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product development for injection molding or similar manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo) and FEA (ANSYS, Abaqus) software.
- Strong understanding of material properties, tooling, and manufacturing constraints.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
