Freelance Product Designer needed to refine AI‑powered design systems, leveraging UX research, design thinking, and Figma to improve model accuracy and real‑world relevance. 8–20 hrs/week, remote (EU/UK).
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refine AI-generated design concepts to align with industry best practices.
- Conduct UX research and usability testing to surface gaps in AI understanding of product design.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to provide clear, actionable design feedback and annotations.
- Develop and maintain design system components that can be ingested by AI models.
- Document design rationale and create concise briefs for AI training datasets.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a product designer with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Figma and design system creation.
- Understanding of AI training workflows and ability to translate design intent into machine‑readable formats.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Based in the EU or UK, available 8–20 hrs/week.
