Data Analyst
Mid‑level Product Data Analyst responsible for turning product usage data into actionable insights using SQL, Python, and statistical techniques to drive product decisions and improve user experiences.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain analytical pipelines to extract, transform, and load product usage data from multiple sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling to uncover trends, user behavior patterns, and growth opportunities.
- Build and ship dashboards and visual reports for product managers and cross‑functional teams using tools such as Tableau or Looker.
- Design and evaluate A/B tests and experiments, providing clear recommendations based on results.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and UX teams to define metrics, set success criteria, and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or product analytics, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; strong Python skills for analysis, automation, and statistical modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) and creating stakeholder‑focused dashboards.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and A/B experiment design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings in a clear, actionable manner to non‑technical audiences.
