Process Documentation Engineering Technician responsible for creating, maintaining, and optimizing detailed engineering documents for PCB assembly processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement using CAD and technical writing skills.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update process documentation for PCB assembly, including work instructions, SOPs, and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to capture process changes and ensure documentation reflects current best practices.
- Utilize CAD and other design tools to produce accurate drawings and schematics that support production and troubleshooting.
- Conduct process audits and root‑cause analyses to identify documentation gaps and recommend improvements.
- Maintain version control, document management systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Process Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in PCB assembly or electronic manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency with CAD software and technical writing tools.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
