Devops Engineer
Design, implement, and support private cloud infrastructure using OpenStack and VMware, automate operations with Python and Terraform, and ensure reliable, secure services for internal banking applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain private cloud platforms (OpenStack, VMware) across multiple data centers.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using Python, Terraform, and other scripting tools.
- Monitor performance, capacity, and security, applying patches and upgrades to keep the environment compliant with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud services into CI/CD pipelines and support application deployments.
- Provide tier‑2/3 troubleshooting, incident response, and root‑cause analysis for cloud‑related issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing private cloud infrastructure, preferably with OpenStack and VMware.
- Strong Linux system administration skills (RHEL/CentOS or Ubuntu).
- Proficiency in automation/scripting using Python and infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Understanding of networking, storage, and security concepts in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused mindset.
