Software Engineer
Lead complex aerospace manufacturing projects, driving system architecture, integration, and test automation using C++, Python, and model‑based engineering while ensuring compliance with DoD security and Agile processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical architecture for high‑performance aerospace manufacturing systems.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the development, integration, and verification of hardware and software components.
- Apply Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to create and maintain system models, requirements, and traceability matrices.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and simulation tools using C++ and Python.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements, maintain Secret clearance, and support travel for stakeholder engagements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for embedded and test software development.
- Extensive experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering and system integration in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
- Strong background in Agile development practices and leading technical teams.
- Active Secret clearance and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
