Lead large‑scale, cross‑functional programs that build the infrastructure powering billions of Alexa‑connected devices, integrating IoT, distributed systems, and AI/LLM technologies on AWS.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver complex, multi‑team initiatives that enhance Alexa’s core horizontal services for over 1 billion connected endpoints.
- Architect and scale distributed systems and critical infrastructure that support IoT device connectivity, data pipelines, and AI/LLM workloads.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to define technical roadmaps, prioritize features, and resolve cross‑domain dependencies.
- Drive continuous improvement of program governance, risk management, and delivery metrics across large, distributed teams.
- Mentor and coach senior engineers and program managers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering leadership within large, distributed systems or IoT environments.
- Deep understanding of AWS services, distributed architecture, and AI/LLM integration.
- Proven track record of delivering high‑impact, cross‑functional programs on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable plans.
