Lead the design, development, and validation of high‑fidelity models and simulations for advanced defense systems, using MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python within a Model‑Based Systems Engineering framework.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate high‑fidelity system models and simulations to support design, analysis, and verification of defense platforms.
- Lead Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities, ensuring models align with architecture, requirements, and DoD standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate system requirements into executable simulation environments.
- Perform validation, verification, and sensitivity analyses to assess performance, reliability, and risk.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on modeling best practices and tool usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with extensive experience in systems modeling and simulation.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python for model development and automation.
- Strong knowledge of Model‑Based Systems Engineering methodologies and DoD modeling standards (e.g., SISO, MIL‑STD).
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex simulation projects and communicate results to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
