About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end systems engineering for large‑scale defense platforms, ensuring alignment with mission requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain architecture models, integration plans, and test strategies that meet stringent security and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (software, hardware, mission operations) to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable security clearance protocols and maintain a Secret clearance throughout the engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in systems engineering for defense or aerospace applications.
- Proven expertise in architecture design, integration, and testing of complex systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Valid Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
