Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high‑performance video processing pipelines and codecs for real‑time defense applications.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance reviews.
- Define system requirements, create detailed design documents, and ensure compliance with security and DoD standards.
- Integrate video solutions with existing Linux‑based platforms, leveraging GStreamer, OpenCV, and hardware acceleration.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, conduct code reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of systems engineering experience with C++ development on Linux environments.
- Deep expertise in video codec algorithms, real‑time streaming, and multimedia frameworks such as GStreamer.
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and delivering complex, secure software projects.
- Active Secret DoD security clearance (or ability to obtain one) and U.S. citizenship.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in an Agile environment, and excellent communication abilities.
