Systems Engineer
Lead the development of high‑fidelity signal and sensor models for advanced aerospace systems, leveraging MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python to deliver model‑based designs while maintaining DoD Secret clearance requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate high‑performance signal and sensor models using MATLAB, Simulink, and C++ for aerospace platforms.
- Lead model‑based design activities, integrating models into system simulations and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testbeds.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate system requirements into accurate modeling solutions and support trade studies.
- Implement and optimize algorithms in Python and C++ for real‑time processing and data analysis.
- Provide technical mentorship, conduct design reviews, and ensure compliance with security and quality standards.
Requirements
- Active, transferable DoD Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain interim clearance).
- 10+ years of experience in signal processing, sensor modeling, and model‑based design for aerospace or defense systems.
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, C++, and Python programming.
- Strong analytical skills, experience with hardware‑in‑the‑loop or real‑time simulation environments.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to work on classified projects.
