About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high‑fidelity signal and sensor models for defense platforms, ensuring alignment with mission requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in system integration, simulation, and validation, leveraging MATLAB, C++, and Python.
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to refine sensor performance and optimize system architecture.
- Document design decisions, model assumptions, and test results for internal review and regulatory compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering best practices in modeling, coding, and security procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in signal processing, sensor modeling, and systems integration.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, C++, and Python for algorithm development and simulation.
- Strong understanding of DoD security clearance processes and ability to maintain a Secret clearance.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of leading technical projects.
