Lead complex systems engineering projects for defense applications, driving architecture, requirements, and validation while maintaining DoD Secret clearance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end systems engineering for defense platforms, ensuring architecture, performance, and integration meet mission requirements.
- Develop and maintain system requirements, functional specifications, and traceability matrices.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (software, hardware, test) to deliver integrated solutions on schedule.
- Oversee test planning, execution, and analysis to validate system performance and compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering for defense or aerospace environments.
- Proven track record of leading complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required.
