About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and validate guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for missile platforms, ensuring compliance with DoD performance and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ code for real‑time flight control systems, integrating with hardware-in-the-loop test rigs.
- Lead simulation and modeling efforts using MATLAB/Simulink to predict system behavior and support design trade studies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (electronics, propulsion, software) to define system requirements and interface specifications.
- Conduct rigorous verification and validation activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and flight qualification.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience designing and implementing missile guidance and control systems.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ and real‑time operating systems (e.g., VxWorks, RTOS).
- Strong background in MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation.
- Active U.S. Secret clearance required; U.S. citizenship mandatory.
