Systems Engineer
Lead complex integration and test efforts for advanced aerospace systems, applying model‑based systems engineering, requirements management, and software development in Python and C++ to deliver high‑performance solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute integration and test strategies for large‑scale aerospace programs, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and schedule requirements.
- Develop and maintain model‑based system architectures and verification plans using tools such as SysML and DOORS.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the design, implementation, and automation of test procedures, leveraging Python and C++ for test software development.
- Coordinate with hardware, software, and mission stakeholders to resolve integration issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments, and configuration management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of systems engineering experience.
- Proven expertise in integration and test of complex defense or aerospace systems, including model‑based approaches.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for test automation and data analysis.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS) and system modeling languages (e.g., SysML).
- Active SAP clearance or ability to obtain one, and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
