Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and verification of advanced Guidance, Navigation & Control systems for aerospace platforms, applying model‑based design, control theory, and C++/MATLAB development to deliver high‑performance solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop GNC algorithms and models for aerospace vehicles, ensuring performance, robustness, and compliance with mission requirements.
- Lead system integration and verification activities, coordinating with hardware, software, and test teams to validate GNC functionality in simulation and flight environments.
- Apply model‑based design techniques using MATLAB/Simulink and generate production‑grade C++ code for real‑time implementation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering best practices in systems engineering and control design.
- Collaborate with program management and stakeholders to define technical baselines, risk mitigation strategies, and schedule milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of GNC experience.
- Proven expertise in control theory, sensor fusion, and navigation algorithms for aircraft or spacecraft.
- Advanced proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and model‑based development workflows.
- Strong systems engineering background, including requirements management, interface control, and verification planning.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of delivering complex technical solutions on schedule.
