About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end development of client‑side systems, from concept through deployment, ensuring alignment with mission objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Define and maintain system architecture, requirements, and design documents, applying best practices in systems engineering and secure design principles.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including software, hardware, and integration specialists, to deliver cohesive, high‑quality solutions.
- Oversee integration, verification, and validation activities, ensuring compliance with rigorous defense standards and security requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in systems engineering for complex defense or aerospace projects.
- Proficiency in requirements management, architecture design, and integration testing.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Experience with secure development practices and defense‑grade software/hardware integration.
