Systems Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of complex, cloud‑native infrastructure for climate and energy solutions, leveraging Python, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain large‑scale, highly available infrastructure across AWS, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Design and automate deployment pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools, integrating infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable system designs.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to guarantee uptime and rapid incident response.
- Lead technical reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement of engineering processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a strong focus on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in Python scripting, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Deep understanding of networking, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to lead technical initiatives.
