About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end systems engineering for C3MS avionics, from concept through flight qualification.
- Develop and maintain system architecture, requirements, and interface control documents.
- Coordinate cross‑disciplinary teams (software, hardware, test) to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Conduct risk assessments, design reviews, and validation testing to meet DoD and customer specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in avionics or aerospace systems engineering, with a strong background in C3MS or similar mission‑critical platforms.
- Proficiency in requirements management tools, system modeling (SysML/DO-178), and test automation.
- U.S. citizenship and active Secret security clearance required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
