Systems Engineer
Lead the design, integration, and validation of avionics systems for business and regional aircraft, leveraging deep expertise in embedded systems, RTOS, and aerospace communication standards to deliver high‑reliability solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the development of avionics subsystems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in requirements analysis, system design, and integration testing for business and regional aircraft.
- Drive the implementation of embedded software on RTOS platforms, including CAN, MIL‑STD‑1553, and other avionics buses.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to validate performance, safety, and reliability through rigorous testing and simulation.
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, with a focus on avionics.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++, RTOS, and avionics communication protocols (CAN, MIL‑STD‑1553).
- Strong background in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and validation.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Valid U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States.
