Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and integrate high‑performance algorithms into mission‑critical aerospace systems.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, providing technical direction and mentorship on C++, Python, and signal‑processing implementations.
- Design and optimize embedded software for Linux‑based platforms, ensuring real‑time performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with hardware, test, and verification groups to validate algorithm functionality and meet stringent DoD requirements.
- Establish integration processes, coding standards, and verification methodologies to streamline delivery cycles.
Requirements
- 10+ years of systems engineering experience with a focus on algorithm development and integration in defense or aerospace domains.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python, and strong background in signal processing and embedded Linux development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and manage complex integration projects.
- Active Top Secret DoD security clearance (or ability to obtain one immediately).
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
