About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain large‑scale Linux and Windows Server environments supporting aerospace and defense applications.
- Design and manage virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper‑V) to optimize resource utilization and system resilience.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Python to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring tasks.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security policies, perform vulnerability assessments, and apply hardening measures across all systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to integrate hardware, software, and network components into cohesive, mission‑ready solutions.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance (or ability to obtain one) and U.S. citizenship.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering, with deep expertise in Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Proven experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud‑compatible infrastructure.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation and orchestration.
- Solid understanding of network security principles, firewalls, and DoD compliance frameworks.
