About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a global team of structural, materials, and design engineers on complex stress analysis projects for aerospace modifications and upgrades.
- Develop and validate advanced finite element models using ANSYS and Abaqus to predict structural performance under operational loads.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate design, manufacturing, and quality assurance requirements into stress analysis workflows.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (e.g., DO‑178C, AS9100) and regulatory requirements through rigorous analysis and documentation.
- Present technical findings to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating complex analysis results into actionable design recommendations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in aerospace stress analysis, with proven leadership in multidisciplinary teams.
- Expertise in finite element analysis using ANSYS, Abaqus, or equivalent FEA platforms.
- Strong knowledge of materials behavior, fatigue, and failure analysis in aerospace applications.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
