Principal Sr Principal Flight Test Engineer- FTO flight Sciences

As a Principal/Sr Principal Flight Test Engineer- FTO flight Sciences, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of flight test plans and procedures for flight sciences experiments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test flight test equipment and software. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python, C++, and Linux, as well as knowledge of machine learning and AWS. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of flight test plans and procedures for flight sciences experiments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test flight test equipment and software.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in flight test engineering.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a STEM field (e.g. engineering, physics, computer science).
• 10+ years of experience in flight test engineering, with a focus on flight sciences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Python, C++, and Linux.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AWS.
