Lead end‑to‑end data solutions on Databricks, driving customer success through architecture design, engineering pipelines, and advanced ML/AI applications while balancing billable delivery and pre‑sales advisory.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable data solutions on Databricks, ensuring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Lead technical pre‑sales engagements, translating customer requirements into robust architecture proposals.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams on best practices for data pipelines, lakehouse design, and ML model deployment.
- Collaborate with product and solution teams to shape feature roadmaps that meet enterprise data needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor, conducting workshops, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts to showcase value.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or related fields with deep expertise in Databricks.
- Proven track record of delivering large‑scale data pipelines and ML/AI solutions in production.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Hands‑on experience with Spark, Delta Lake, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in pre‑sales or consulting roles, driving customer engagement and solution design.
