About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver end‑to‑end cloud solutions for federal, state, and local government agencies, ensuring alignment with regulatory and security requirements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into scalable, resilient architectures on AWS, Azure, and hybrid platforms.
- Lead technical workshops, demos, and proof‑of‑concepts to showcase solution value and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
- Provide strategic guidance on cloud migration, modernization, and cost optimization for public‑sector portfolios.
- Mentor and coach junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on public‑sector deployments.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments, including security, compliance, and governance.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering large‑scale, mission‑critical solutions for government clients.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
