Principal Solutions Architect driving cloud strategy for Australian Government and Healthcare clients, delivering resilient, secure, and scalable AWS solutions that meet public sector compliance and innovation goals.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and delivery of complex AWS cloud solutions for Australian Government and Healthcare customers.
- Partner with sales, business development, and AWS technical teams to craft highly flexible, resilient architectures that meet regulatory and security requirements.
- Advise clients on best practices, including the AWS Well‑Architected Framework, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
- Conduct architecture reviews, workshops, and proof‑of‑concepts to demonstrate value and accelerate adoption.
- Mentor and coach junior architects and engineers on cloud design patterns and public sector compliance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing and deploying enterprise cloud solutions, with a focus on AWS.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Analytics) and public sector compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading solution design for large‑scale, mission‑critical workloads.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional) preferred.
