Software Engineer
Lead cross‑squad engineering excellence on a high‑performance eCommerce platform, driving design, security, scalability, and continuous improvement using Python, Java, AWS, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the design of scalable, secure, and high‑performance services across multiple squads.
- Champion engineering standards, code quality, and best practices, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture.
- Mentor and coach senior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Agile Delivery Managers, and Chapter Leads to translate business goals into robust technical solutions.
- Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud‑native patterns on AWS.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in Python and Java, plus hands‑on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes.
- Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, mission‑critical eCommerce or payment systems.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
