Lead test engineering initiatives as a Principal SDET, designing and implementing automated testing frameworks, driving CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high‑quality, cloud‑native software delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for complex, cloud‑native applications.
- Lead the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring rapid, reliable releases.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to define test strategies, quality metrics, and defect‑prevention practices.
- Mentor and guide senior SDET staff, fostering best practices in test design, code quality, and performance testing.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging testing tools and technologies, including container orchestration and cloud services.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Python and Java.
- Extensive hands‑on experience building automation with Selenium or comparable frameworks.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience testing cloud‑based platforms, preferably on AWS.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to influence technical direction across distributed teams.
