Software Engineer
Lead the design, deployment, and support of scalable cloud services using AWS, Kubernetes, and Python, driving automation and reliability for a large healthcare technology platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain highly available, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Kubernetes and containerization to accelerate release cycles.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Develop automation scripts in Python to streamline operations, monitoring, and alerting across the platform.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in DevOps and SRE.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud service engineering, with deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, RDS, EKS, Lambda).
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration best practices.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
- Hands‑on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a passion for delivering reliable, secure healthcare technology solutions.
