Security Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of enterprise security solutions, driving threat modeling, cloud security, and IAM strategies while mentoring teams and shaping security architecture across the organization.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive security architecture standards for cloud and on‑premise environments.
- Lead threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing services.
- Design, implement, and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) frameworks and policies.
- Develop automation scripts and tools (e.g., Python) to enhance security monitoring and response.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to embed security controls early in the development lifecycle.
- Mentor and guide senior engineers, fostering a culture of security excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep expertise in IAM, zero‑trust models, and security architecture design.
- Proven track record in threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Strong programming/scripting skills, preferably Python, for automation and tooling.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty) and a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks.
