As a Principal Security Engineer, Infrastructure Security at openai, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security of our infrastructure. This includes ensuring the security of our cloud-based services, identifying and mitigating potential security risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure infrastructure architectures using AWS and other cloud-based services.
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure security is integrated into the development lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities in our infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain relationships with security vendors and partners to stay up-to-date on the latest security technologies and trends.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in a security engineering role, with a focus on infrastructure security.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based security architectures and AWS.
- Experience with Python, Node.js, and Machine Learning is a plus.
