Security Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of AI‑focused security controls and SecOps processes, leveraging Python, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms to protect multimodal AI services and ensure robust threat detection and response.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement security controls for generative, knowledge, and emotion AI pipelines across cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Design and automate SecOps workflows, integrating CI/CD pipelines with security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks.
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for AI models, data ingestion, and multimodal processing components.
- Develop and maintain security tooling in Python for runtime protection, anomaly detection, and incident response.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineering teams to embed security best practices into model training, deployment, and monitoring.
- Lead incident response for AI‑related security events, providing root‑cause analysis and remediation guidance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with a focus on cloud (AWS or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience building security automation tools.
- Proven expertise in threat modeling, IAM design, and SecOps processes for AI/ML workloads.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD security integrations, vulnerability management, and incident response.
- Excellent communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams and translate security requirements into actionable engineering solutions.
