Embedded Systems Engineer
Lead the design, development, and validation of advanced RF hardware for defense systems, leveraging expertise in high‑frequency PCB design, signal integrity, and low‑level programming.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high‑performance RF and microwave hardware, including antennas, amplifiers, mixers, and transceiver modules.
- Lead PCB layout and signal‑integrity analysis for multi‑GHz designs, ensuring compliance with stringent defense standards.
- Define and execute verification plans using vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and custom test rigs.
- Collaborate with system, software, and firmware teams to integrate RF subsystems into larger platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive best‑practice processes for documentation, configuration management, and design reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of RF hardware experience.
- Proven expertise in high‑frequency PCB design, component selection, and signal‑integrity simulation tools.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and proficiency with MATLAB for modeling and data analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with RF test and measurement equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.).
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
