Research Engineer
Lead multidisciplinary research to design, develop, and optimize multispecific antibody therapeutics using advanced protein engineering, biophysical, and computational techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and engineer multispecific antibody constructs to target complex disease pathways.
- Perform biophysical and functional characterization of lead candidates using techniques such as SPR, SEC, and cell‑based assays.
- Integrate computational modeling and structural biology to inform design iterations and improve affinity, specificity, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (immunology, pharmacology, manufacturing) to advance candidates through preclinical development.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Protein Engineering, Immunology, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Proven expertise in antibody design, multispecific formats, and biophysical characterization.
- Strong computational modeling skills and experience with structural biology tools.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
