Systems Engineer
Lead the design and integration of scientific informatics platforms, leveraging ELN/LIMS expertise and Benchling APIs to model data, build robust data warehouses, and streamline R&D workflows for life‑science research.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain ELN/LIMS solutions, ensuring seamless integration with Benchling and other scientific platforms.
- Design and implement data models, schemas, and entity relationships across integrated scientific and engineering systems.
- Develop and manage RESTful API integrations, enabling data flow between scientific platforms, data warehouses, and downstream analytics.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate scientific workflows into technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of informatics infrastructure.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of ELN/LIMS systems, preferably Benchling, and experience configuring or supporting them.
- Strong background in data modeling, database design, and API integration.
- Proficiency with REST APIs, data warehouses, and integration patterns.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced R&D environment.
