QA Engineer
Lead hardware validation efforts as a Principal Quality Test Engineer, designing automated test systems and ensuring reliability of advanced sensing and communications equipment for mission‑critical applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for complex hardware platforms, integrating Python, LabVIEW, and C++ scripts.
- Lead hardware validation campaigns, including functional, environmental, and reliability testing of sensors, RF modules, and FPGA‑based subsystems.
- Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and drive root‑cause investigations to resolve performance and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to define test requirements, improve design for testability, and support rapid prototyping cycles.
- Mentor junior test engineers and establish best practices for test automation, data acquisition, and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of hardware test experience.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and LabVIEW for test development and instrumentation control.
- Hands‑on experience with FPGA development boards, high‑speed digital/analog interfaces, and signal‑processing techniques.
- Strong background in test automation, data analysis, and root‑cause failure analysis in demanding operational environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary, security‑focused team.
