Product Manager
Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve performance, latency, scalability, and reliability of Microsoft 365 and Copilot server‑side systems, driving resource optimization across the core platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product vision for core platform performance, latency, scalability, efficiency, and reliability across Microsoft 365 and Copilot services.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, and operations teams to identify high‑impact optimization opportunities and translate them into actionable roadmaps.
- Prioritize and manage a portfolio of cross‑team projects, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and service‑level objectives.
- Leverage telemetry and analytics to measure system health, drive data‑informed decisions, and continuously improve resource utilization.
- Advocate for best practices in cloud architecture, capacity planning, and fault tolerance within the Azure ecosystem.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, preferably in large‑scale cloud or SaaS platforms.
- Deep understanding of performance engineering, scalability, and reliability concepts for distributed server‑side systems.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross‑functional initiatives that impact multiple product teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using telemetry, monitoring, and data‑driven metrics to guide product decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities, capable of influencing senior technical and business leaders.
