About the Role
Do you want to help give small businesses tools to thrive and grow?
OfferUp is looking for a Principal Product Manager to lead our Local Business product portfolio that includes our Storefronts and Motors business lines, which are our suite of solutions for SMB retailers and vehicle dealerships looking to connect with buyers in their local communities. This role sits at the intersection of B2B product strategy and revenue growth, and it's an opportunity to shape how thousands of local businesses across the country connect with customers on one of the largest local shopping platforms in the U.S.
This is a hybrid role based in our Bellevue, WA office. You’ll spend 2–3 days a week in the office, working alongside our teams to solve real problems for millions of daily users. We’re looking for someone with proven product instincts, a deep appreciation for data, and a proven ability to turn ambiguity into business results.
What You’ll Do
- Drive business outcomes at scale: Take accountability for product lines generating over $20M in annual revenue, setting the strategy and executing against it with clarity and urgency.
- Grow a product-led growth engine: scale our recently launched self-serve acquisition flywheel that reduces friction for new business customers to discover, onboard, and expand their use of our platform — turning product experience itself into a growth driver.
- Give our Business Customers the tools to succeed: Drive the next phase of development for the OfferUp Business Portal, our centralized operations hub for business customers — the place where merchants manage inventory, track performance, engage with buyers, and grow their presence on OfferUp.
- Lead across a talented team : Partner with a focused group of engineers, designers, and other key stakeholders across Sales, Account Management, B2B Marketing, and Ads. You’ll help them navigate trade-offs and stay focused on the most important work.
- Own the roadmap: Develop and maintain a roadmap that balances near-term revenue impact with longer-term platform investment — and be able to defend every trade-off.
- Be a key voice: Work directly with company leadership to influence our strategy and back up your ideas with clear reasoning.
- Test and learn: Run experiments (A/B testing) to see what works and what doesn’t, using those insights to constantly improve the platform.
- Leverage AI: Use tools like Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT to accelerate development and deliver outsized results with a small team.
Who You Are
- A natural leader: You don’t wait for instructions. You’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and know how to get things across the finish line.
- A problem solver: You have a history of looking at a complicated situation and finding a creative, simple way through it.
- A great communicator: You
