The Principal Product Manager, GenAI will lead the development and implementation of DataRobot's generative AI products and programs. This role involves working across departments to leverage generative AI technologies, requiring a strong understanding of prompt engineering, vector search, and LLM fine-tuning.

About the Role

The GenAI Principal Product Manager at DataRobot will be instrumental in developing the organization's deep learning and generative AI capabilities. This pivotal role involves shaping the development and implementation of our generative AI product and leading programs that leverage these technologies across various departments.

You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, GTM, Partners, Marketing Operations, and Customer Success teams to drive growth projects and deliver new products and features. The ideal candidate possesses a proven ability to deconstruct complex problems into actionable steps for product development, understands prompt engineering, can build domain-specific models utilizing vector search, and/or has experience with fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs).

Key Responsibilities

Lead technical discussions and serve as a thought leader during product reviews.
Integrate technical knowledge, subject matter expertise, and trend analysis to make informed decisions and influence business direction through data-driven analysis.
Design and execute process and strategy frameworks to facilitate product-related goal setting, decision-making, and business impact.
Develop and manage end-to-end project plans, ensuring on-time delivery.
Clearly articulate the team’s technology vision, requirements, goals, and milestones to stakeholders.
Provide hands-on program management through the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
Own the execution or application of machine learning (ML)/artificial intelligence technologies such as computer vision, NLP, speech/audio, or personalization.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience

Demonstrated experience introducing radical new products (0 to 1) to end customers that have significantly altered market dynamics.
In-depth knowledge of the Gen AI and ML landscape, with the ability to shape strategy and engage effectively with stakeholders.
8 years of experience in product management with technical products.
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Product Manager.
