About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the integration of high‑performance power distribution and conversion systems for aerospace applications.
- Develop and validate system models using MATLAB/Simulink and perform hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define electrical requirements, interface specifications, and verification plans.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security requirements and maintain documentation for certification and sustainment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in power electronics design, high‑voltage systems, and systems integration for defense or aerospace platforms.
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, C++ programming, and hardware‑in‑the‑loop test environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.
