Software Engineer
Lead L2 platform support for a global no‑code SaaS platform, driving incident resolution, automation, and performance optimization using Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, and Python.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end L2 support for a high‑availability SaaS platform, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents across cloud and container environments.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (Python, Bash) to streamline troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to implement fixes, improve platform reliability, and contribute to architecture reviews.
- Monitor system health using observability tools, create alerts, and proactively address performance bottlenecks in Kubernetes and AWS services.
- Mentor junior support engineers, share best practices, and lead knowledge‑transfer sessions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting large‑scale SaaS platforms on Linux and Kubernetes.
- Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python (or Bash) for automation and incident response.
- Proven track record in incident management, root‑cause analysis, and delivering actionable post‑incident reports.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across distributed, multicultural teams.
