Devops Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure platform services using Kubernetes, Terraform, and advanced CI/CD pipelines, driving automation and cloud security across mission‑critical defense systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly available Kubernetes clusters and associated infrastructure across multiple cloud environments.
- Design and implement IaC solutions with Terraform, ensuring repeatable, auditable deployments.
- Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated testing, security scanning, and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce hardening standards, manage secrets, and maintain SC and eDV clearance requirements.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on best practices for platform reliability, observability, and performance tuning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps roles within high‑security or defense environments.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud security practices.
- Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tooling.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD) and container registry management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a hybrid setting.
