Lead design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using IBM App Connect and API Connect, driving API strategy, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment for complex client environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end integration solutions leveraging IBM App Connect and API Connect.
- Design, develop, and manage REST and SOAP APIs, microservices, and event‑driven workflows.
- Collaborate with client architects and development teams to define integration strategy, data mapping, and security policies.
- Guide migration of on‑premise integrations to cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, AWS) and implement CI/CD pipelines.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best‑practice guidance to consulting and delivery teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in integration platforms, with deep expertise in IBM App Connect and API Connect.
- Strong background in designing and exposing REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and event‑driven architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud environments (IBM Cloud, AWS) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/GitLab CI).
- Proven ability to lead complex client engagements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and mentor junior consultants.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross‑functional teams.
