About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement flight control actuation algorithms for next‑generation aircraft, ensuring compliance with stringent safety and performance requirements.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the integration of hardware and software components, from concept through flight qualification.
- Develop and maintain high‑integrity embedded C/C++ code, perform rigorous verification, and conduct failure mode analysis.
- Utilize MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and rapid prototyping of control strategies.
- Collaborate with systems engineers to define interface specifications and conduct system‑level trade studies.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with a focus on flight control.
- 10+ years of experience designing and validating flight control actuation systems for aircraft.
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ development and MATLAB/Simulink modeling.
- Strong knowledge of control theory, dynamics, and avionics integration.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
