About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and production‑grade deploy large‑scale machine learning models, including generative AI and NLP pipelines, on AWS infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable ML solutions that enhance legal analytics and decision support.
- Lead model training, hyper‑parameter tuning, and performance monitoring, ensuring robustness, fairness, and compliance with ethical AI standards.
- Mentor and coach junior data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
- Drive research initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and prototype innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a strong focus on generative AI and NLP.
- Proficiency in Python, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, S3).
- Deep understanding of model deployment, monitoring, and scalability in cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the legal or professional services domain is a plus.
