Lead the design, implementation, and validation of high‑performance firmware for precision power conversion and control solutions, leveraging deep expertise in C/C++, embedded RTOS, and power electronics to deliver mission‑critical performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop robust firmware for precision power conversion and measurement devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and system teams to define interfaces, optimize performance, and troubleshoot complex issues across the product lifecycle.
- Lead code reviews, establish coding guidelines, and mentor junior engineers to maintain high code quality and maintainability.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, including automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation for embedded firmware.
- Analyze and resolve low‑level hardware‑software interactions, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement solutions for reliability and safety.
Requirements
- 10+ years of firmware engineering experience in high‑reliability, mission‑critical environments.
- Proficient in C/C++ and experience with embedded RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, VxWorks).
- Strong background in power electronics, hardware interfacing, and low‑level debugging tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a track record of delivering complex firmware projects on time.
- Effective communication skills and ability to mentor and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
